Spot the Stroke Signs:
1. Facial weakness
2. Weakness of arm or leg,
3. Speech impairment- difficulty in speaking or comprehending,
4. Imbalance while walking,
5. Vision impairment,
6. Sudden severe headache.
If you spot any of these symptoms, rush to the nearest stroke-ready hospital (with CT/MRI facility). Stroke treatments (thrombolysis and thrombectomy) work best within the first few hours after the symptom onset.
