Stroke can affect anyone at any age. Remember that time is of essence, as the medication must be given as soon as possible after symptoms of stroke start to appear.
To spot a stroke, keep in mind the acronym – FAST
F – Face drooping on one side
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech problems
Time – If someone has one or more of these signs, call 995 immediately for help.
