Stroke Overview

1. Cause:

Stroke occurs due to interrupted blood flow to the brain.

Ischemic Stroke: Blood clots or narrowed arteries.

Hemorrhagic Stroke: Ruptured brain blood vessels.

TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack): Temporary blood flow interruption.

2. Symptoms:

Sudden weakness/numbness (one side of the body).

Difficulty speaking or understanding speech.

Dizziness, loss of balance, or severe headache.

3. Laboratory Findings:

Imaging: CT or MRI to determine stroke type.

Blood Tests: Check clotting factors, sugar, and cholesterol.

4. Treatment:
